Throw rag is more then just your average band, their live performance will rest in your mind for the weeks following any performance. The new album 13 ft and rising does just about the same thing. In essence, it brings the fast guitars high-octane live performance into your home without all the sweaty greasy haired punks or bar brawling moshers that go along with a show. This album was well put together with production help from Cameron Webb (Motorhead). It has some very special additions featuring guests such as: Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Keith Morris (Circle Jerks), as well as the great Lemmy (Motorhead) that completely impressed me. The band has definitely matured musically from their beginnings. This album is something that belongs in everyone's collection, too punk to be rock n rollers and yet too rock-a-Billy to be punks...perhaps the perfect band for any setting? I would say so. Most of the tracks on here I couldn't get tired of, for example: 'Tonight the bottle let me down.' Each track has its own uniqueness, and most are catchy enough to pick out your favorites with, another good track is 'She don't want to (She don't care).' This album is due out July 12th, listen for yourself and for those that enjoy the fast paced style of music that you can get into, this is your CD.
